The Club the members built


The Club the members built philosophy requires that all members get involved in the ongoing operation of the club as well as special projects to maintain or improve club facilities. These activities could involve but are not limited to such things as:

  • assisting in both launch and haul out activities

  • preparing the site for haul out or the upcoming boating season

  • becoming a board member or sitting on one of the operational committees

  • being Duty Officer for 1 mid-week session or 1 weekend season

  • repairing existing or building new water and land elements of the club

  • coordinating a social event

  • as well as a number of other tasks or activities to support the property, building, harbour and activities of the Club.

As part of the application process we request that you include on your application any skills you would contribute to support the Club.

Prior to approval, folks applying for the full member level will meet briefly with the Vice Commodore, and all others will be contacted by telephone.

To apply, mail or drop off your application form along with your cheque to the attention of the Club Coordinator. To minimize delays, ensure that your application is completed in full. Please allow two to four weeks for a response to your application.
