Tall Ships Festival - June 24-26

On behalf of the Tall Ships Festival Committee, I am pleased to invite all members of the Brockville Yacht Club to participate in the Festival’s Parade of Sail with our visiting Tall Ships.

Friday June 24th 2022

3:00 PM

Vice Commodore Gord Cooke will be coordinating the Brockville Yacht Clubs participants along with the Royal Canadian Navy.

The marshalling point will be determined on the morning of the event. We would ask all participants to be on station at least 30 – 45 minutes prior to the start.  The Fair Jean will be leading the Parade as Brockville is their home port.  They will be followed by the remainder of the Tall Ships.  The Clayton Fire Boat will bring up the rear.  Please stay on the south side of the Tall Ships or in between the ships during the Parade.

The Navy will be communicating with you on VHF channel 71 as primary and 72 as backup.

We look forward to having as many BYC boats (Power & Sail) as possible to welcome our visitors to the start of this fabulous festival.

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact me at your convenience.

Best Regards,

Doug
